It’s Holy Thursday of the Holy Week and ever since I was a child, my family and I visited seven churches (or more) in Zgharta and the neighborhood.
There are a lot of churches, but apparently not enough! Old churches became too small and the population was growing so a new bigger church was build near the old small one, like Mar Youssef, Mar Youhana, Mar Charbel, among others.
This is how the churches looked like on Holy Thursday,

It is always a blessing seeing old friends and relatives while visiting seven churches in my home town. You will also meet the same people visiting the same churches you are visiting.
It is that feeling that you cannot describe when you are home, during this Holy Week.
I am hoping next year, we will visit churches at Ehden
