So you found out you have fake Twitter followers and want to remove them? Here are some ways.
Social Bakers: check your fake followers. Upon the completion of the check, a list of fake followers will appear at the bottom of the search. Simply block them.
Unfollowers: Provide different categories from which you can easily find your fake followers (Fake Following, No profile image, etc…)
Another option is to Block them Manually (Recommended): Since Twitter is as important as any other social media, it would be great to invest some time on this task and check your followers and manually block those who are suspicious. I know that it can look like a mission impossible for those with millions of followers. In this case you can go to Social Bakers. Follow these steps:
- Click on your followers tab
- Find the fake follower you want to block
- Just to the left of the follow button, there is a gear icon – click it
- In the drop-down that opens, select the 5th option from the top – block or report
- In the pop-up that takes over your screen, select the reason you are blocking the account
- At the bottom of the pop-up click block – Congrats! You’ve just blocked one fake Twitter follower.
